Do you offer trial lessons? Yes we do! You are welcome to use your first class of the term as a trial lesson. Please check for availability in this class as trials cannot be done in classes that are full. You will need to enroll online and mention that it is a trial lesson in the notes section of your enrollment. You will not be debited until you have confirmed you would like to continue with your classes. Please note we do not accept email enrollments.
Do you have any availability? Our availability is very limited across all days, to view all of our available spaces please see HERE.
What are the fees and how do we pay? You can view our class costs in our Members Handbook HERE. We now use a direct debit payment system to debit fees. The fees are debited on a fortnightly basis on the Monday in advance of your classes. You are also required to pay a one off annual fee to register with Gymnastics Australia.
What do I need to wear and bring to class? We recommend wearing comfortable active wear clothing or leotards. Singlets, t-shirts, bike shorts and leggings are perfectly fine. Please refrain from wearing items with buttons, zippers or loose materials as they can get caught or damage our equipment. Ensure you pack a bottle of water and a small towel for each lesson.
Do you have a uniform and is it compulsory? We do have leotards for purchase at our gym, although they are not compulsory to have. To order one, you can speak with one of our coaches before class or email us at cartwheelsgym.com.au with your child's t-shirt size and which leotard you would like to order. Training leotard - $59.85 Competition Leotard - $71.85
What is your gymnast to coach ratio? Our 5-6 year old pink group has a ratio of 9:1. All other recreational groups including 1.5 hour extended recreational has a 10:1 ratio. We occasionally have 2 coaches assigned to a group but often a coach will float around and help groups as needed.
